You’re 16!!!! Give it 2 yrs and all the kid-fat will fall off. Don’t mess with your body at this age, it is still developing and needs nuterients and the little bit of extra fat. Please don’t develop worry about your weight right now, people 16 is loads of fun and there are much more important things to worry about.

you are young to be worrying about your weight but i understand that at your age, there is the pressure to want to be like your “skinnier” friends!!
Find out your BMR!!
This will tell you how many calories your body needs and from there you can work out how many calories you need to burn either through diet or exercise! your daily calorific needs will be more if you exercise!! so once you have found your BMR, click the link “daily calorific needs” and this will tell you how much more you can eat depending on what exercise you do!
to lose 1lb you wil need to burn 3500 calories!
For example, i can eat (according to my BMR) 1900 calories per day!
To lose 1lb per week i eat 1500 calories per day (-400 per day = 2800 over 7 days) and go to the gym 4 days a week burning around 1800 calories (-1800)
Therefore, each week i burn 4600 calories which is equal to just under a 1 1/2 lb per week!!

well there are many things u can do.
if u stick with it you will loose weight sooner or later.
Dont eat sugary food and eat very slowly.
chew till the food is dissolved in ur mouth atleast chew 20 times before swallowing. doing this would will have u want to stop eating the rest of food bc ur brain thinks u are constantly eating and make u less hungry and ur jaws would get tired of chewing. so that cuts down food for you.
also if u eat when ur stomach tells u to eat and not when ur brain tells u. that can cut off alot of eating time. and be active. like get out. better to get out then sit. when ur out dont sit ,stand. and if u dont have to stand walk around. so u are loosng calories in just easy motion.
best way is also go out for a bike ride with freinds. or play dance dance revolution. its always fun and u loose alot of calories.
running/walking up and down the stairs sounds foolish but its very helpful. or go on youtube.com and search for cardio excersices :]
